I won't be. Look, we need money, and he is not going to played in his natural position. So, sell.

u never know babes hopefully he will next season, am not sure if i would be happy to sell him or not, i also agree he hasnt done much this season but i dunno its a strange one, he seems to have it but not showing it as much but like i said hes an AM maybe he will show what hes all about in that position... its if he gets that position tho

I know you're not a fan of Bily, but you must agree it's harsh to judge him completely when Moyes signed him with no intention of letting him play in his preferred position? Surely Moyes deserves some criticism here, too?

It was a bad buy. I'm sure he's skilled. Apparently he was boss in Russia but that was also the league in which the phrase GET JO ON!!! actually had meaning.

However there is nothing to suggest in his body of work in the past couple of years that suggests he would ever be a good prem player even in his perferred position. He has good size but gets pushed around like his 5'4" and weighs 130. If he did play his perferred position (which I'm guessing is behind the striker) I can't possibly see him having the impact that Cahill and Osman has had there.

His preferred position is left midfield. I can remember him saying this. He doesn't class himself as a winger, but has never ever said he likes to play centre mid, behind the striker or up front. So basically, left midfield but not as a winger, isn't that exactly where he plays for us?

He's said he plays CM for Russia, and did for his last team. Like attacking mid. Not Arteta-esque CM I don't think.

Clearly his best asset is shooting and his worst is defending, so surely playing in AM makes more sense than LM; a role in which you have to track back a lot and help your LB out?

I don't think it's harsh at all - I have nothing against him as a player/person, just judging his integration into the team. There are other players that are not playing their original position, and they have adapted and grown. Seamus Coleman being one of them. Versatility is a solid trait just like others.

Moyes does deserve criticism for making a poor buy. But not for playing Bily out of position - there are other players that have performed better in his preferred spot.

I just feel like we need to recoup some of our losses here and generate some funds to move forward. He as a player/person needs to be somewhere else to be able to play in his preferred position. I wish him the best and hope he finds a better fit elsewhere.

Coleman is hardly a fair comparison. He did get to play at RB, both for us and for Blackpool, before Moyes decided that because of a lack of options he'd try him at RM. In addition, Coleman is young and inexperienced; still finding his strengths out at this level. Inversely Bily is fairly experienced, and a full international. And he's never played in attacking mid.

You can't criticise players for not being jacks of all trades. Admittedly we haven't put Bily in goal, so you'd hope he'd have done a better job than he has, but he hasn't, and yet he's still played second fiddle to everyone for attacking mid. Why not just try him there?

I don't expect him to be a jack of all trades - but I do expect him to play better football than he has even at LM. That was my comparison to Coleman - who took the new position and demonstrated some new skills. I don't expect Seamus to suddenly become a CAM. Bily didn't adapt at all - that's not expecting him to be a jack of all trades.

To me there's a reason he's played second fiddle. His passing skills, his ball skills, his slow decision-making. He instills no confidence in me on *this*team. So I don't want him to play there. We have too many other players in the middle, he is extraneous and to me not good enough for the prem.

My FIFA Manager mode stats would argue against that :)

If there was not this phenonemon known as the internet between us, I wouldnt argue but seen as it is.

We will see mate im pretty sure he just isnt suited to the prem, the pace and the physical side of it.
