Why lock it? It’s a fans forum to talk about relevant topics to the club. He’s been a huge part of this club unfortunately, so it’s completely relevant. He’s clung on in a key position chairman and people want a fans forum page locked? Bonkers

I'll also say he was a blue and deserves some respect for what he was trying to do, even if in many minds he went the wrong way about it.

Well, I woke to my social media being full of Evertonians demanding other Evertonians be respectful.
As far as I've seen, no one has been disrespectful. And rightfully so.
Bill Kenwright was a true Evertonian who dedicated his life to the club.
He moulded the club around the city and was an excellent ambassador when it came to Hillsboro and other tragedies faced by the whole football community.
He had the respect of our senior players and staff.
And if we can navigate the upcoming club sale successfully, he will have had a big part to play on relocating us to BMD.
If the news is true, may he rest in peace.

Met Bill a few years ago. Outside the ground at the away cup game at Stevenage. Had my lad with me and he was really friendly to us and chatted for about 10 mins.

I appreciate why people have taken the view of him they have but he was ultimately one of us and the debate about his legacy should probably wait for another day

Just a shame he didn't leave Everton years back, the amount of stress Everton puts on me nevermind someone at the centre of it. I think it will also have hurt him to see how we view him and what is happening with 777, it's bound to have had an impact on his health which makes it even crazier someone didn't say take a break after his illness.
