I watched the full sky coverage of the Bournouth match a few weeks ago. What was really annoying was that there was a feeling that change was imminent. It was being reported that MSP were waiting in the wings, and within a few days of the match, new investment would be announced. A few minutes after the final whistle, you could here loud chants of sack the board.
Two and a half months later and nothing has really changed. Yes, Denise Barrett-Baxendale, Graeme Sharp and Grant Ingles left, but they were sacrifical lambs, and in any event, they have been replaced by internal appointments. So much for the outside experise, not associated with the previous failings that the fans actually wanted. And of course, the fat leech remained in post, because he was needed for his acumen in the transfer market. With regard to the MSP investment, god knows where we are up to with that.
After a disapointing and predictable defeat (given that nothing has really changed), it is sad to see the anger being directed at certain players who we know aren't good enough, instead of Bill and Moshiri who have landed us in this mess. It's also sad that I really can't see it changing any time soon. Feels like we are in a death spiral with these two clowns. All the anger that was there at the end of the last campaign towards Bill and Farhad should still be there today, but I fear as a fanbase we are becoming tired of it all, and who would blame us.
