A few things can be immediately gleaned from that statement which clarify the position going forward:

1) We now know for certain that he has a debilitating illness which will worsen in the future. It is not a rumour any longer.

2) It effectively reaffirmed that the club hierarchy are still at war with the fanbase.

3) BK and the board have no intention of going anywhere. That doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't, just that they won't give up their positions easily.

Anyone who thought that they were already gone because they aren't attending home games needs to have a rethink after reading that. The action from the fans groups needs to be maintained, not decreased. This could get very very messy indeed if the worst happens and we are relegated - the level of animosity towards them that would be created by us going down really doesn't bear thinking about.

Moshiri needs to get these new investors in and quickly.
