To be my main argument about Kenwright has always been that he saved the club after the Johnson era, and he did, and for that we have to be grateful.
If he hadn't of done so there is not a chance in hell we survive in the Premier League all these years, there is a reason why.only 6 clubs have done it.
But aside from that I know he talks a lot of rubbish, and should of stepped aside years ago, I regularly say so.

It’s really strange - the poster keeps banging this myth out about Bill saving us. It was nothing of the sort. Bill ended up asset stripping us which is all PJ would have done in trying to recoup his investment while waiting for a buyer

He didn't save us, he destroyed us.

All that happened in 1999 was that he won the battle for Johnson's 68% shareholding ahead of other prospective consortia by managing to beg steal or borrow £20m.

I’d also add to that if PJ did asset strip to the extent that BK ended up doing, it would have been to reimburse whereas BK’s was to pay back ridiculous loans and to keep his pay masters happy
