He'll resign (if not pushed out sooner) the minute it looks like relegation is going to happen.
He'll try and blag his way then by saying he wasn't part of it and it's not his fault. I don't believe for a second he'd be there to oversee it and put his hands up and admit how much blame should be apportioned to him
For me, he can protest his lack of responsibility as much as he likes. It does not wash. He has been Chairman for 19 years and in the role, he is supposed to ensure that the club is properly run and the necessary resources are available to deliver the club's objectives.
There is no way he can provide any evidence that this has taken place. We have spent the duration of his tenure wheeling and dealing at the limits of probity and good governance.(Vibrac, Philip Green etc)
If he had the dignity to examine his contribution, he would be gone. Instead he has surrounded himself with a cadre of hangers on and loyalists to watch his back. Whilst so doing he has failed to bring in people with the right skills mix to advise, choosing instead to massage his ego.
He is a busted flush and it is a question of not if but when?
