Big Vic

Didnt LCAB and bluefox both say that if Martinez stayed at Wigan, he wanted Anichebe as a replacement for Moses? So hopefully this is on now.

Anichebe is getting to the right age now to make a right go of premier league football.
He's big n strong and was our best striker at blackpool pre season which bodes well.
When he came back from injury and got a few games off the bench last season he did the biz.
Think people have took a dislike to him cos of his lack of celebration and not cos of ability.
I think it would be a mistake to let him go

I've got no love for Vic but if he goes we need another player at least otherwise we are going with a very small squad this season.

He's not on big dough and he'll get 5-8 off the bench IMO. Hopefully he only goes if we've got something lined up.

Agreed.

I think he could be a really good player if he quit his temper tantrums on the pitch and started to work hard, rather than act like a spoilt kid.

For once we have at least 3 stronger striker options and several stronger midfielder options so I doubt it will be his best year ever... Be lucky to play a game to be honest.

Seriously twitters servers should be the focal point of Al Qaeda's future terror campaigns, with facebooks coming in a close second.

Hope we don't sell our squad is wafer thin.

At the same time, he's proven time and again he's not good for us.

Sell him, and use the proceeds to buy someone else.

Selling fringe/squad players isn't a problem as long as the proceeds get reinvested in the team and don't go to the bank.

Other than the years I haven't got a clue what them numbers are mate. Though if Rain man's a blue he'll be rigid seeing that.

All I know is that Vellios and Conor(Hi) are both very young and Naismith and Mirallas seem to be as much mids as strikers and are both completely unproven in this league. I'm not saying Vic is better or that we should deffo keep him, just that we're a bit short of bodies if he goes.

You do realise this forum is a type of social media don't you?

#potkettle

This is a football forum, not some sad site where your self worth is defined by how many cyber 'friends' you have tagged to your account, with which you bore other equally boring no marks, with inane tales about your daily routines & your tawdry existence.

So there..........nah nah.
