If our current form continues we will be relegated, a disaster from which we could never recover. Everything about our club screams the lower leagues, our antiquated wooden stadium in particular. The only manager who would have a reasonable chance of keeping this woeful squad in the Premier League is Big Sam. I can't stand the man but I think we should bite the bullet and put our record breaking top-flight status ahead of our purism.
Have I been in a gravy induced coma for 2 years.

Booo!

The stick he got was a joke , I saw Big Dunc talking about it - saying it really got to him when people were booing when we won games.

Please see below for the correct answer :
Sums him up.

He didn't make even the smallest effort to get the fans onside. Seemed to delight in winding people up needlessly.

All he had to do once we were safe was try and play a bit of footy, rather than his footy version of rugby league and he’d have got some of the fans on board.

But he’s so far up his own ego that he just couldn’t do it and carried on popcorning the fans at the same time.

My heart bleeds for him.

My biggest wish is now no longer that we win the league, it is that I wish we had never ever appointed him and therefore his name would never appear in discussions like this.

This thread has got precisely the result the OP wanted, a bunch of gammons crawling out of the woodwork wanting a gravy soaked, pint of wine swilling hoof ball merchant back at the club. Boggles the mind. All he's done since leaving, with millions in his back pocket btw, is slag us off. Some of the same people who hate Benitez for his "small club" comments and Moyes for the whole Manure situation, no doubt. The fact that these three Muppets are even in the conversation shows the state we are in as a football club. Joke.
