No. Our board is the worst in the league by a mile and don't deserve the fans that have followed this club through thick and thin for decades. But eventually there becomes a snapping point and, for many of us, this is it.

Yep really good. Honestly if there was a massive negative response you couldn't blame him for walking away before starting. If we get relegated off the back of that then it would be no more than the fans who did that deserve.

We are no better than any club that he has had to come in and save at this point. The sense of entitlement is off the charts, this will only be fixed by hard work, getting in the right players to balance the team and once we have a base platform then add the bells and whistles, including a new manager.

The alternative view is that he comes in and we get relegated anyway. In the meantime he brings in a load of journeymen on silly wages that we can't offload (just as Koeman did) and has completely ruined the development of an unusually large group of young players full of potential. We can't afford to pay him and his cronies off because the most of our TV revenue has disappeared. The football is crap, the fans begin to disappear and we're in a downward spiral.

Those fans who wanted him appointed will get no more than they deserve.

Tell you what in hindsight sacking Roberto looks a major mistake in hindsight he built his team on loans and no money !
