Virgin cleared to challenge Eurostar on Channel Tunnel route
Virgin Trains plans to start rival passenger rail services through the tunnel from 2030.

Would have been helpful to get high speed rail through to london and birmingham at least and so alleviate some of the pressures on the airports. Green agenda etc.
