Does anyone have any stats on headed goals during Martinez' tenure, compared to our headed goal stats under other managers? I ask this, because I can always remember Everton getting their fair share of headed goals, goals which made a difference, goals which were the difference between winning, losing and drawing.
Now that we spend 80% of the match passing the ball from side to side in our own half, and when we do seldomly attack the opposition, it's always breathtaking, attacking football that is played on the floor, so we are suffering because we have no attacking threat from headers, and I think this puts us at a serious disadvantage.
Headers are going nowhere, clubs will still be scoring and defending with headers in 300 years time.
