is that mainly because of the money you lost? agreed though, we're in a better position. only 3 teams who should realistically be considered as challengers left in the cup

I only punted like I did.. Cos it was Oldham away..
We KNEW what was coming..
And still couldnt stop it.

It is interesting, obviously any player can jump with arms up and as longs as you don't touch it it is fine. For me, because its the GK it just doesn't feel right. :)

At least this forum isn't nearly as bad as the guys on ToffeeWeb.
Blimey, they really are a joyous bunch on there.

I'm not pissed off at all, annoyed but we did push them back and put our foot in all game up until the last 15 minutes or so. Why we couldn't continue to do that is beyond me. We had them under wraps for huge periods of the game.
Maybe I'm wrong but I thought there was some good football being played by us, sadly it's been overshadowed by the result.

That big galoot on their team must be in a pain in the crack to mark and stop though.

Do they still have the rule Re ' Ungentlemanly Conduct ', should be a yellow and a freekick in our box

and is lifting illegal in the line out...sorry, corners.

The Reffs are ruining the game, well those bits of it we don't cock up ourselves like scoring and defending

It's easy if you do it right, one marker behind one infront if he was that good he wouldn't be there, always worked with the big guy Old Bootleans had,

Was optimistic before the game, even more so now with a replay at Goodison to come. Why not?

A good draw (i.e. a home game vs lower league opposition) would be the icing on the cake.

Thought the performance against Oldham was ok seeing as we've been a bit tired-looking of late. Their equaliser probably would have been chalked off in a Prem game and at least both teams get a bit more dosh from the replay. Honestly can't see them getting a result at Goodison - we've only lost once at home all season ffs! COYB!

Couldn't agree more with the OP. a draw away isn't a bad result in the cup. We're one of the hardest teams to beat in the country, especially at home. Which gives us every chance in a cup competition! Hopefully we'll see one of city, Manu or Chelsea knocked out this round as well.

Was never going to be easy playing away against lesser opposition.
It was their big day launching balls into the box. Most teams struggle with this which is why Stoke flourish in the premier and Wimbledon before them.
At least we are still in it unlike the shoite.
My real concern is tiredness and the general lack of energy we are displaying at the moment, drawing away to Oldham i can live with. coyb

chelsea are still in it so i will never believe we have a chance until they are gone. Rafael has a total voodoo devil sign over us. someone needs to hurt frank lampard if we are due to play.
