I think because he’s awkward and physical refs always give the defender the benefit of the doubt but Beto gets kicked, thrown and grabbed all over the place

I hope Beto has a great season his confidence will be so much higher knowing he’s our main striker and Moyes gives him great confidence to express and utilise his attributes. Obviously looking forward to seeing Barry play and hope he ends up being great and used to full potential too. Looking forward to this season

I think this is very much under appreciated.

We know that Beto was very much a bench player under SD.
Even when DM came in January Beto was still behind Calvert Lewin and was on the point of leaving the club.
It was the injury to DCL that stopped the transfer and gave Beto his opportunity... which he has taken.

I think he will be a much improved player again this season.
