It's a difficult situation with Beto, on the one hand, he really needs a full preseason and more time on the pitch to adjust to the English game. The problem is, if he gets that, and he has another season like last season we can probably only shift him on a loan or a free transfer next summer. If, on the other hand, we cut our losses and sell him this summer, we may get 50% of what we paid for him.

I know hurling abuse at underperforming players is an everton tradition but i could see it be a little jarring for a player except he's from serie A so if anything the comments would be a little less racist than a fan from the Italian league you'd hope. If he stays I hope he finds his footing and puts on some decent displays for us , as he seems like a grounded and solid human being that is tenacious.
Abuse to any Everton player on social media is out of line.
