He played well and makes a big difference. Although he absolutely should have been subbed with 20 to go because he was knackered.
Having Dom to come on at 70 mins will be a big help moving forward. No need to rush him back, let him have a few sub appearances and hope he can avoid injuries, and then take it from there.

This is what modern day footy does to peoples brains. Listen to the pundits too much, read Social Media too much. Football is all about skill and errors. See an opportunity and shoot.....not all shots are going to be a goal so perfection is unheard of in football yet you pull him up on a single shot. Do you watch much footy? Can you not see great play and errors come hand in hand. If everyone was perfect then we would have 0-0's every week.

modern day football has people like you bigging him up to be the next lukaku and haaland after 2 games
im not even criticizing the player, i think he has played well so far, just pointing out one moment in the game where his finishing was poor and i presume its because he took the shot on his weaker foot
he also had a bad shot against doncaster with his left foot just before he scored

Really promoting first signs from Beto. Looks strong, fast and a hard worker. Should only get better, especially when our better attacking players are available - can't come quickly enough.

I dunno. Maupay got turfed out pretty sharp and Canon was always gonna go.
We'd been after Beto since January. The geniuses working behind the scenes will have to answer that but something stopped it from being done sooner.
His overall play today (and midweek) was excellent.
Noticed him also encouraging the players around him.
Hoping this is a sign he will bring some much needed energy and confidence back into our forward line.
