Beto deserves to start over Broja. Maybe Broja isn’t fully fit or is conscious of getting injured again but if he had shown anywhere near the same level of application and presence as Beto then he would be a definite starter and we might be talking more about buying him.

This all day long. Nothing really on the game now, so should be giving lads who are going to be here next season, or ones who the club are undecided on a start. Broja has looked poor every time he's played, amazingly slow with zero work rate, I am obviously missing the quality in him, others seem to be seeing.

it’s not chicken feed to us though, we are still psr wary as for most of this year we still had ridiculous debt repayments, we still have crap revenue, and the stadium benefits don’t exist yet.

No one is giving us anymore for Beto than we would likely get now. Which is already likely to be £15-20m, most likely from an Italian club.

You think Beto scoring a couple against the likes of Ipswich and saints adds £10m to his fee? Finishing 13th will make us more money than finishing 17th but Beto adding 2m to his fee.
