Best route to the champions league?

I'd rather have the season Utd have just had (6th with 2 trophies and CL qualification) than the season Liverpool have had. Bit of an obvious one really.

With the final in Cardiff this year I think leaving from Goodison the best route is via the M6.

I'll bite on this one.

I could live with finishing 10th IF we won the Europa League final in the same season.

I would be very concerned if we finished lower than that simply because, if recent previous seasons are anything to go by, there are very few points separating the clubs in the 12th to 18th positions.

As an old blue, it genuinely breaks my heart that there are so many Evertonians who have never experienced the absolute rush that comes with seeing your team lift a trophy! Any trophy we can possibly win, we should go all out for! We will not win the league lets just be sane about that, so we absolutely must concentrate on silverware and give the younger fans, as well as most of our pleyrs, theur first taste of a senior level trophy.

Why would we drop any? 15 point drop and we'd still be 7th. That wouldn't happen anyway.
With an improved squad and more options I'd take where we are now and a serious run at the EL.
Without the EL I would have expected at least a 10 point improvement next season.
