Hes had his chance and hes been found to be utter gash. So give Coleman a chance, give Neil a long run. Anybody but Hibbert.

We need to hold back our joy for Coleman a little here, and look upon his good performances as simply promising.
It's easy to get carried away with a good performance, but we need 38 good performances from the lad, and that will be a lot to ask.

Let's not raise him too high, as it would be unfair for the lad to have to fall from such a great height should he have a baddy.

Hibbert for me is still our number one, as Neill hasn't proved anything, and Heitinga will probably never see that position.

I see Coleman eventually coming into the fold, but it will probably be a few seasons down the line before he becomes number 1.

He was class Sunday and was easily MOTM.

Check back at the end of the season and let's see where young Coleman has got to. I do think his recent play has warranted a good run out - let the boy run and learn - his confidence is high and he knows this is his chance to crack into the regular rotation. Can't really see him doing much worse against Chelsea - Neill seems slightly confused at the moment and Hibbert will still have the FA Cup Final in the back of his mind.

He was a persistent threat down the right yesterday, had lennon in his back pocket for the short time he was switched to try and exploit coleman's inexperience and a generally solid display. He's intelligent too. Had a good awareness of who was where in and around him.

No right back at the club has the scope to potentially or currently holds the ability to do what he did yesterday. Thus making him the clubs best right back.

I voted Neill, but only because the poll-maker didn't include Neville in the options.

Then I realised Neville was in the options. So yeah, I'd start P-Nev there, Neill is a worthy back up, and Coleman should be given intermittent chances at cementing a place as the season goes. Heitinga should be our new DM, as others have said, and Hibbert's days are numbered as grateful as I am to him for his commitment over the years.

Seamus is 21 - you've got Rodwell and Gosling who are only 18 and 19 respectively playing regular football.

These 3 have been regulars for a couple of years

Then you have...

Carlos Vela = 20

Denilson = 21

Either regulars or getting their chance to prove themselves.

I think it depends on the opposition. I'm not sure I'd want Coleman against the likes of Joe Cole at this point, but I'd really like to see him get some games in against teams like Bolton and Burnley, to build on yesterday's performance.

Against Chelsea, would like to see Neill there if he's not needed at CB.

On the other hand, if Coleman plays against Chelsea he'll be ace

Same as most have said for me, lets not get too carries away with Coleman just yet. Everyone was raving about Rodwell not too long ago, but now he's playing every week he seems to be struggling. I'd play Coleman against Bate, whilst his confidence is high and there's not too much at stake, but maybe rest him at Chelsea, protect him a little. That said he may handle Cole et al admirably and never look back!

All said, going on proven ability at this instant i'd go:

It probably is Coleman, but I would still use him mostly as a sub for the time being.
