When? IIRC, because he's an Evertonian he's not allowed to do any of our games, though he did do a preseason game this year, I think.

He has deffo done some of our games. I remember him doing a Man U game at home when Moyes was the boss.

I'm led to believe that he hasn't declared officially that he supports us !

Then why hasn't he done more of our games? There is only a handful of PL refs, yet I never see him doing an Everton game. IMO, the FA found out he's a Blue after he did than Man U game (Fergie probably moaned about it) and put the kibosh on future assignments. Too bad, really, because we could use a ref biased in our favour for a change.

He's retired mate that's why !

Now a referees coach for the refs equivalent of the FA x

I haven't got a clue who's a good ref, but I voted Michael Oliver because he reminds me of Harland Williams

The big issue here is that the ref has no obligation to explain his decision to continue to play and nobody will be able to ask.

The sooner refs have to publically explain decisions the better as they will then be forced to stop cheating.

Edit, I am not voting as the poll should read 'Who is the best out of a very bad bunch' ;)

The standard of refereeing in this country is a joke. Today at Sheffield Wednesday, Anthony Taylor FIFA official, blew for a free kick to be taken for Leeds whilst the substitution was taking place. Leeds scored and Taylor was forced to ge over and consult the 4th official who told him that there was a substitution taking place. Taylor stopped for the substitution but did not check that it had been completed. How a FIFA ref can make such a basic mistake is beyond me.
