Aye, like Dowd but he doesn't really have the errr, profile, of a guy that is going to be able to keep up with the fitness demands of a top flight ref into his middle 50s.

Tbf Clattenburg makes some of the best "play on advantage" calls of all the refs, think we've even benefitted ourselves from it (S'ton at home??).

He seems to get a positive enjoyment out of the limelight of making controversial big calls though.
