I honestly think Clattenburg is one of the better PL refs. I know, I will never forgive him for that derby but besides that I think he has been good. Oliver is usually decent as well.

Just watched that incident. Naughton goes in with his studs showing (he takes the ball with the sole of his boot). M'Vila is a bad snide for screaming like a tart, but you can absolutely see why the ref saw it as a straight red.

Expect it'll be appealed successfully though.

Best in the sense of being least worst?

Until his shocker in the derby this season I would have confidently said that Martin Atkinson was the most improved ref going (given that he was once just about the worst ever) as he seemed to get all the big calls right and could be trusted. But now I am reserving judgement until we have him again.

I thought Robert Madley had an excellent game in our League Cup semi last week.

Interesting that the refs who have not given pens against us against Cittee have been two relatively new Premier League refs. If that was Jonathan Moss he would have been that orgasmic to give the pens against us they'd have had to surgically remove the whistle from his fat body after he swallowed it in the excitement.
