Has to be Cahill, for the embodiment of the change in our footballing attitude.

It will be Baines or Felli though, in time. Or Cyber Grok One who he buys for next to nothing in 2023.

Baines for me, class, quality and in my opinion he's currently the best in the world at left back aswell as 100% commitment to the club. He could of easily forced a move to someone like United but he's stayed and still offers everything he has every game.

Depends - youll no doubt disagree but most important player...Neville without a shadow of a doubt. He completely changed the playing side of the club when it was about to impload with one or two players. Best player for ability to date, Nigel Martyn. World class.

Arteta would be awesome in our current set-up playing a similar role to which he does at Arsenal. I think the problem in his last season or two, especially after Pienaar left was that he was our only creative player and we were over reliant on him. The midfield of Osman, Pienaar, Cahill and Arteta with the Yak up top and Cars behind was superb and was Arteta at his best for us.

Best player is a really difficult one as we've had a umber of players who've excelled, if he hadn't left I'd have said Lescott as I think he has all the attributes you want in a top centre back. Of the current crop I'd go for Baines as I think he has been so consistent since he finally made the left back spot his own.

Before he left I said on here he was the best signing Moyes had made. When he was scoring loads of goals, and our defense was actually good.... then he turned all snidey :(

Moutinho???

Has to be Riqul.......

Arteta or Cahill for me, I think Coleman could be up there in a few years with regards value for money.

felli for me, the guy is a monster and barely any of us had heard of him. young foreigner with a huge price tag for a team with no money was massive pressure and he's delivering significantly, will be playing for one of the worlds best in a few years. baines was good before he joined us, just didn't get quite the recognition he deserved, he's improving every year and turning into one of the worlds finest LB's. felli just takes it for me, i can see him running games single handedly in the CL

It's not even a close call, for impact per pound, points won with vital goals, longevity, spirit, enthusiasm, playing with injuries, heart & always giving his all - it's Tim Cahill.

Agree with this comment totally. Helped inject the club with passion at a time when we were on our knees!
No doubting the sense in calls for Pienaar, Baines, Jagielka, Arteta, Fellaini etc but Cahill takes the crown for me.
Have to say that if Jelavic keeps it up I would be tempted to vote for him in future! It has been a long long time since we had a striker who I felt could score in every single game he played in - it is a lovely warm feeling to have!

Scott Spencer. With the right development the lad could of been as good as anything this county has ever seen.
Well done Moist
