If i'm remembering it right assault on precinct 13 was a great shootout good film to think it was made for next to nothing back in the '70s.

Heat was a great film except for Val Kilmer he was terrible

But the best of all was indeed Leon for me bloody great film and shootout.

For me, one of the best shootouts I have seen was in the climax of "Open Range" starring Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall. Shows good realism in that with the old revolvers it had to be up close and personal not 50 yards away from each other.

Do not know if it is on Youtube and I would not know how to do a link if it is, my aplogies I did not get an "A" level for geekism.

I really liked Open Range, very good film.

Bought it for my Dad for Christmas. Couldn't believe the man who educated me on Western's had never seen it. He thoroughly enjoyed it.
