BEST GOAL SEEN AT GOODISON?

Miralls' goal against Stoke last season when he took the ball from just outside the Gwladys penalty box and just kept running. I was just behind the goal at the Park End and a soon as he started his run you knew it was gonnae be special.

I have a couple

1. Pat Nevin chip v Man Utd 3-2 win first ever game. Amazing skill and just a boss feeling seeing it live.
2. Ferguson twice against the mancs ( both 1-0 ) and Ferguson for Royles first game. Great goals but more to do with the atmosphere which makes me remember them so well.

Best goal I have ever seen without being there is deffo Sharps volley against Spurs in 82. its an absolute beast so if someone could post a video of it ( and Pat Nevins chip ) that would be great :)

I'm sure there's a Stubbs free kick I buzzed off massively. Can't remember when or whom it was against though.

I'm sure that has nothing to do with weed or beer. Honest.

One worth a mention is Colin Harvey's against WBA April 1970 to clinch league title that season. So many of the above were unbelievable pieces of skill I could not choose just one although the Graeme Sharp vs Spurs in 82 had people saying to each other did that really just happen ? It was a surreal moment. TV clip does not do it justice.
Harvey scored very few goals but this was a mazy run across the edge of the park end penalty box. Had nowhere to go so just kept possession and then suddenly just hit it..... Cue mega celebrations because it clinched the league for a truly ace team. Night match too just to add to the atmosphere!

This is why I love GOT. It was before my time. I must admit, I wasn't aware of this moment, but I'm buzzing off it now, and that's in no small part to the way you described it.

You are welcome! There was another one that came to mind by Jimmy husband although it was not so important. not sure if same season or a bit later may be. Can't remember the details so well, possibly vs Newcastle but it was a long pass out of defence from I think tommy Wright which Husband let come over his shoulder and stroked it in on the volley from about 16 yards iirc, also in Park End. Bergkamp like silky touch touch and timing.
