You sentimental old fool. I do love it but every time I see it I become less convinced about his ability to hide that tunnel behind a succession of glamour pin-ups and more and more convinced about the cynical "must tug at every blokey heartstring" tick-list nature of it all.

Let's face it, it's a modern day It's a Wonderful Life but pales by comparison to Capra's magical masterpiece. it's incredibly complex (and rather dark) by comparison.
