Jamo Martinez

Impressive debut by Mr. Alves today. just wondered what's the best debut you've seen by an Everton player?
for me it has to be Tony Cottee against the barcodes. You can't really ask for more from a striker than a hatrick. I actually missed the first goal as he score after 34 seconds I think. I got in two minutes late.

I would agree with the Cottee debut. To get a hat trick on your debut is the stuff of dreams. I was at that game too, but luckily i got in early enough to have seen the first goal :P

Cottee too.

Warm summer afternoon, beginning of season. Optimism all over the show.

Pity we went absolutely [Poor language removed] from that point on.
Colin Harveys first league game in charge. We'd bought Pat Nevin aswell. Didn't Tony score about 8 in his first 6 games and then 7 in 89.

Cotte's debut was my lad's first game . Upstairs at the old Park End .
I had the actual stubs until about a year ago when me arl girl inadvertently lashed them . They were from when computers were just introduced , only for issuing tickets , but they were more like a xerox effect than anything else .Anyway , I digress , but yeah , that T.C. day was very special for me too .

Big duncs return from the Jawdeez, vs Charlton at home, scored two in front of the GSE, even though i was about 12, I loved it. Cottee and the others were before my time.
