Disturbed sound of silence is a belting version, so much so Paul Simon said on hearing it the song is no longer theirs.
How am I only just finding this![]()
There's plenty of room in this world for both.Disturbed sound of silence is a belting version, so much so Paul Simon said on hearing it the song is no longer theirs.
There's one for me that stands out a mile. Probably because it's a rendition of a traditional song. The Animals - House of the Rising Sun.
Honorable mentions to Blame It on the Boogie - Jackson 5, and All Along the Watchtower - Hendrix.
Edit: Can't forget to mention Where Did You Sleep Last Night - Nirvana
Great choice!
I've no idea, but it does have that overly sterile SA&W vibe to them. I wish I could forget btw, totp reruns and 80's nostalgia shows drag up all sorts of abominations.Haha, I'd forgot all about that. After hearing the intro, I'm gonna take an educated guess; was it Stock Aitken Waterman behind them?

enjoy the shed, we all need a place to hide and enjoy a bit of peace. if you're really lucky you might have a workshop full of machinery.A quick google has revealed that SA&W were heavily involved in the production of their one and only album, though they weren't their act.
I normally rely on the missus for that sort of 'nostalgia'. She never fails to let me down/have me heading to the shed.
