That's the order for me, had to have Jelavic for that scoring period alone where I generally thought he was the in the top 10 strikers in Europe at the time. And Howard just misses out because I unfortunately can not get his last season under Martinez with us where he was truly horrific. Cahill will always be number 1 in my eyes, heart him.

Yakubu - he was great on his day. Strength, speed and skill. Just a shame about his injury and he didn't seem to get on with Moyes.

Lukaku
Pienaar
Cahill
Jagielka
Distin
Fellaini
Barkley
Drenthe
Gana
Schneiderlin
Howard
Barry
Saha (4 goals against Blackpool)
Miralles
Davies
Lescott

Put Drenthe in because he showed flashes of brilliance. Shame it didn't work out with him.

I'd make a case for Lescott to be bold as well. He was fantastic while he was here. Osman above McCarthy as well.

I thought he was a better LB than CB here (at CB he would occasionally get lost, but made up for it with goals). You go back and watch those matches he played there and he would just shut down any attack on the left side. It allowed us to get away with Arteta on the left because he could just roam and do Arteta things. Plus in attack he couldn't cross like Baines so he would just bully lightweights on his way to box.

Players in bold a class above the rest at least for now.

An distan and jonny h both was better in defence.

I liked him in both positions. Moving him allowed the Baines/Pienaar relationship to develop which has been the best thing about Everton since I've been watching. The football those two played was world class at times

Lots of very good players

Would have added pienaar but his Tottenham holiday spoilt it for him

But few get Everton like they did
