Besic return?

Shame.

He is completely two footed, can tackle, has a good eye for a pass and is a good communicator on the pitch.

I don't really know what to see to people who can't see what he can bring to a side.

I understand those wary of him staying fit long enough to do anything but his actual ability should be obvious.

As for where he could fit in, Besic, Schniederlin and Gana as 3 midfield destroyers who can also go anywhere and pass the ball would work for me. They are all intelligent players who can switch position with each other.

It's the future. Davies and McCarthy (to an extent) can do it too.
Yes, that might be what it says on the tin, but have you ever witnessed any of this in a blue shirt?

Have seen games where he has seemed like the second coming (and if I recall correctly he has effectively put both Messi and Bale out of the game in international matches) and also games where he has seemed pretty useless.

Will the real Besic stand up and stay fit for long enough to let us see which one of the above is his true standard...

Absolutely gash and will be gone in the summer to a championship club.

I think he has been unfortunate with injuries, hopefully he will come back before the end of the season and show us all what he can do. I would like to think we would keep him, considering the age of Gareth Barry I would imagine he would retire at the end of the season

Well..yeah. Manchester City in the League Cup is one that springs to mind.

He has never had a proper run of games due to injury etc but the ability is obviously there.
