Besic - CB

I want to see him offer some variety in midfield. For me CB would be any emergency position only as it's a different league in England to the other leagues he's played as a CB in. However being slightly more versatile might allow him a few games and possible against weaker European opisition it may work.

He would. A defender as good now as Ratcliffe was relative to his time would be very good obviously but you take any prime 80s defender and put them in the Prem and they'd get shagged

Why do you think that? Physically? Technique?

How do you think a 1980s Koeman would do in the prem?

Do you think that's true of all sports? Would Sugar Ray Leonard get "shagged" in the current welterweight division?

They would have been coached and conditioned differently too. The best players could adjust to any era and tactics. Rats wasn't the biggest but he had incredible pace Andreas the game beautifully. He'd be worth £60 million odd today
