My view on these transactions is that we should try and learn from the past: the near past of Koemageddon.

Like I said, we could use any future transfer fee to subside a wage demand as if there's a transfer fee involved then he can't expect his contract to be paid as well.

But I don’t think I’ve watched a Ukrainian league football match.

What I do know is he has not played at international level since 2014 and much as I am excited by the thoughts of us signing a Brazilian, the fact is he never made the squad in the recent World.Cup and that was possibly the worst squad Brazil ever sent to the World Cup

So I suspect the answer to your question is that he was good enough but not particularly eye catching

See, us reasonable people thought that would mean we would pay 20 mill for 30 mill players instead of 40 mill for 30 mill players. But you thought(no actually you didnt, you just pretend) that it would mean paying 1 mill for 2 mill players, as if that made sense.
