Errm, just read on another site - Transfermarket? - that his 'Agents' are his relatives. Haven't we been here before with this? Hate it when Dads and Brothers...and Sisters/ Mums/Aunts/Uncles start getting involved in transfer dealings. Muddies the waters and unsettles players - they all think they know best and/or are simply looking to exploit their commodity for greater financial gains which puts contract discussions into tailspins. Not saying that bona fide Agents don't do the same but its easier dealing with just two people instead of a whole raft of dysfunctional family members.

I don't love the situation but then you also have agents like Raiola and whoever represents Ross going around so does it really even matter I think they all suck

Agree. So it was a breath of fresh air when I read that a lad at Preston - Alan Browne - has just signed a new extended contract until 2021 and doesn't have an agent as he prefers to sort out these things himself. A very decent player by all accounts, as well - he is Irish though so probably knows his way around wheeling and dealing better than most agents, anyway (without meaning to be stereotypical)

Mate, I'd wager a big chunk of players in the world have relatives as their agents.
