May as well give him go at centre half, as he`s played pretty much everywhere else.

If we get this done it’s a fantastic signing but it also in a way puts even more pressure on Brands and Silva to bring in not only a centre half but also another centre mid. I was a big fan of Schneiderlin when we signed him but he isn’t mobile enough to play the one holding player with Sigurdsson in a two and Gueye won’t get the ball forward quick enough to get our new samba boys away! As others have said scoring shouldn’t be a problem but we still have a back line lacking leadership and a midfield lacking pace any guile.
Really positive signing though and hopefully it put us in the shop window for our other targets.

Bernard.. now that’s a signing to get excited about. If Gylfi can play that CM ball carrier role and Bernard plays #10, we might actually play boss football next season.
