What does Lucas Digne do if Benitez gets the Villa job?

He will drive them into the Championship

Almost a year has gone by since we got rid of this utter virus and he's still out of work despite the fact that numerous job have become available at premier league and upper championship level. One of two things have happened:

Either Benitez is massively picky about who he manages. Which is a REALLY bold claim to make considering that his last three jobs basically amounted to two relegation dogfights, a actual relegation, a season in the championship and a spell in china which is basically the graveyard of formerly big name football managers.

Or its just that nobody wants him because he's absolutely toxic and massively damages every single club that he comes into contact with leaving them worse off then when he joined.

I know which one I reckon it is.

Clubs will have seen how toxic we were when he left. I think they’ll be wary.

Remember when that weird Benitez poster on here was saying he had job offers from top clubs in Europe or something, wonder what happened to them? ?

Rafael Benitez on his time at Everton: “An ambitious project was proposed to me, in a city where I live happily with my family. I was confident and optimistic. Perhaps the excessively brilliant start of the championship deluded the environment a bit."

Since when is Caldy, ' a city where I live happily with my family'.

The Texan makes it sound like they are in a 2 bedroomed flat on Breck Road.
