How can you hate this slightly clumsy but friendly man.
He is/was a football manager who put us down verbally at one time, but he won stuff in his career. Everton time not the best but who could be the way we are run.
The personal stuff about his weight is not really acceptable. I would not consider such insults against Allardyce, the tory dubai dwelling slug to be out of order though.

Billbo wanted someone he could stand next to that made him look slim and svelte.
You weren't wrong in wanting to give him a chance. At the end of the day, Everton success is the most important thing and if he did well then Everton would be doing well.
However, it was a very high chance that it was never going to work out. After the first few games, I thought maybe, but very, very quickly any vague hope of Everton being good under him was gone.
