I see quality in Beni if not consistency, always back quality.

I think he needs to go out on loan in January and play competitive football.
We have seen with our crop of youngsters how difficult it is to get into a good Premiership team. It is only Tom Davies that seems to be capable of forcing his way into the team on a regular basis.
JJ Kenny is still inconsistent and can be very rah and possibly needs games every week which he probably won't get when Seamus is back.
DCL, Dowell , Holgate and Lookman are only getting minutes here and there.
A loan to a championship team is what Beni needs now.
all he does is pass side ways
Tbf I hate ball retention as wellThe go-to criticism of any midfielder a poster dislikes...
I'd like to think i've proven on more than one occasion that, even if i'm talking waffle, it's based on what I genuinely see / interpret with my eyes rather than lazy judgement. The go-to criticism of any midfielder a poster dislikes...
Yes mate because my years on GOT have been very anti-possession. I hated that Martinez fella. I mean, i actually was one of the last advocates of the man because of his style, which sought to dominate the ball. And then there was me bemoaning Allardyce and his anti-football. And I have said many times that I am enjoying us getting on the ball under Silva.Tbf I hate ball retention as well
Meant nothing by it mate, just a bit of sarcasm off the back of his comment. Didn't even read your post tbh.I'd like to think i've proven on more than one occasion that, even if i'm talking waffle, it's based on what I genuinely see / interpret with my eyes rather than lazy judgement.
What's interesting is that you've not actually addressed the point Phil and proven that I am indeed waffling in this instance.
Based on the fact Beni has played a handful of games under two managers who couldn't create an attack between them, I doubt you'll find much evidence of Baningime to help you. The point remains though that he keeps it very neat and tidy when in possession. The easiest ball is sideways and backwards.
See Phil, let's debate.

But yes P, I am so anti-possession.
Yawn.
