I wish I hadn’t have seen his car speeding past me on the m57 after the wolves game , because I don’t know how he can justify any wage after that last night , I grant him playing next to the hapless Keane isn’t ideal but for the love of god man you should be dominating everything against that level of opposition

He was always more of an athlete than a footballer. Covid and a broken leg have taken his pace and impressive fitness levels from him. Unfortunately, for both him and us, there is just not enough ability there to compensate for the loss of pace.

Looked decent when he first came here, but awful now.

What happened?
Evertonians love an athlete. When he came here, plenty were blinded by the athleticism, energy, and potential. But he was never a footballer in the technical sense. No great evidence of a football brain - or any brain, for that matter given his alleged aversion to vaccination - either. Soon enough, the early adopters began to cop on. Brands signed another dud.

Still, he'll always have Haaland (and a collection of clown shoes cock-ups) to warm our hearts.

I know neither of them are very good and it’s picking the lesser of two evils but if we had to keep one of him or Holgate, I would rather have kept Holgate.
