Should have followed his dad into rugby league. Fast in a straight line, show him a corner or turn him and it’s like he takes 3 seconds to regain his bearings and locate his man/the ball. Weird.

The worse he plays, the more he backs away from the player he’s supposed to mark, and good players just exploit that space instead. He’s lost now as terrified to mark tight and terrified to back off, so manages to somehow do a strange hybrid of nothingness.

Really hard to feel sorry for him, and subbing him off again super early would hurt him. But leaving him on like that has finished any relationship with the fans (until he is our starting CB next year). Not going to be a fun day in front of the video analysts for him.

He was subbed off at half time against United. And 56mins against Fulham. Dropped completely for Palace.

Beyond me that Dyche thought he'd "improve"

Yes, Super.

He was loved here by some - despite having no record as a manager and being patently out of his depth. 80% wanted to keep him after the Bournemouth debacle.

The lesson? As a collective, we are not great judges of players or managers.

He’s never had a good game at RB. He can fill in at LB. I don’t no why Dyche would play him when we have a RB on the bench terrible management.

His record is incredible. Like Godfrey and Holgate and Lampard, he had huge admirers here.

Lampard didnt have admirers. More desperate hope a younger manager might change things and the theory we need to give someone time.
All flawed of course. Turned out about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Nah, "he gets us".

He had fervent supporters here - people who railed against those who saw through him.
