Absolutely agree. Looked great 1st half. Second half the midfield started too deep and never got back. Digne was playing right on top of him second half didn’t look like they knew who was marking who - then they went to a 5 and same thing, too many players in the defensive line.

There was no need to sit so deep early doors but tbf we've done it a few times and hit teams on the counter.

Ancelotti will know that performance all things considered was solid as a rock and 3 points have been lost because of a fella in goal who can't control his emotions and has to leap around like he's fkin Spiderman on beak

Thought he had a sound game tonight and had him MOTM ahead of Keane. It was a waste having Digne playing where he did second half, Ben was coping fine . He even managed a galloping run down the right . Could be a future puzzle of how we fit in Digne though , but for me Godfrey plays somewhere.

Absolutely love this lad. He’s a proper unit and I reckon he’s likely the fastest player in the squad. Absolutely monsters up the yards when he steps on it. MOM for me yesterday alongside Keane.
