Couple of good performances against Burnley and Chelsea, still early days though so hopefully he can carry his form on to when he eventually starts playing in the middle.

Long term his playing out of position should hopefully help him out. As he said he’s getting exposed to situations a CB usually wouldnt, at some point even as a CB he’s going to be put in situations where he will have to defend wide. Also having to join in attacks as a LB should help him to, he’ll understand where a LB might want a ball, what they’re likely to do defending so he can adjust his position and generally just make him more comfortable on the ball. More of the same please Ben. I think there’s a fine line though, you don’t want him to end up like Davies and not given the time to develop in his natural position

Since then I'd say he's performed in every game. Positionally a bit wayward here and there but expected when playing in a back three (and with a non-commincative Mina/Keane) or out of position at full backs. Can't wait to see him in CB.

Been very impressive at left back again for me.
He’d be great at CB picking up the ball and making those runs forward.
He's started very well. Moving around the back line isn't easy to settle in. Now at LB. He's doing very well!

This is why we bought him. He can play out of position with aplomb. He has been a bit naive at times early on in the season but that is where the coaching staff comes in and irons him out. He is young enough to to learn.
....up against a conventional winger for much of the game but Under getting substituted was a reflection of his performance.
Brilliant attitude this lad , played well again
Solid again and that's all we can ask in an unfamiliar position.
