I think he showed good qualities in the tackle and pace to be a CB but he's so clearly not a right back.

Tough on him seems he's not an actual RB, he did get back quick on few occasions and will look good as a CB or even in front of the CBs

He was dreadful but that´s what happens when you put a young centre half at right back with absolutely no protection in front of him.

I don't want to sound like I'm making any kind of judgment yet but I'm just a bit worried watching him that we've not really thought through signing someone off the worst defense in the league even if he is young.

Wonder if it is worth us switching to a back five? Might mitigate the lack of a right back if we can chuck someone at RM/RWB instead. Davies would probably do a job there and could give Godfrey an easier task as a RCB and Nkounkou license to get forward.

Exactly teams sussing us out no cover in front of anyone who plays right back.......

Got rinsed by painfully mediocre players, but clearly isn't a right back and had zero help from James obviously, so you can't really read a whole lot into it.

There was a moment were his brain appeared to fart and he lost the ball in the Soton half. However, he ran back like Ben Johnson and pinched the ball back.

That isn't the point. I'm saying that we watched him struggle in the PL last year. I don't get why him, Aarons and Lewis were all hot properties considering.
