Not going to lie I never heard of him before yesterday, until is saw it on SSN. Everton have bid accepted for Godfrey... it did cross my mind that he could be another Brazilian who goes by 1 name.

You can't teach them skills, if and when Allan goes we will hopefully be in the champions league and contending for silverware to drop in another world class like for like player.

I could see Holgate and Godfrey providing depth at both ball-winning DM and CB. If JB isn't ready and needs a loan, and Gbamin is perma-crocked then its 5 players for 3 positions. Which makes sense.

But will they be tall enough as a pairing ? Would prefer to mix them with Keane and Mina, have the best of both worlds. Maybe in a few years when they have more experience, then pair them. But speed, technique and height is all covered in my view if we mix them. Besides Keane this season and back end of last doesn't deserve to be dropped.
