He did a lot of covering for Gomes’ mistakes as we tonight. Not only did he do his defensive duties to a tee he was the only player looking to drive forward with the ball. Top class.

He’ll become a top player but he’s still got development at centre back. Played reasonably well tonight but lost the big centre forward a few times in the box and was sleeping at the end when he just about played the boy onside for their disallowed goal. Let’s not go to overboard on the praise too soon.

I thought he had his worst game since he was played at RB moths ago, still, was in control of 99% of everything thrown at him. Diagne was a handful, more so than most CF's he has battled this season, without the finishing ability though.

Made a couple of mistakes but never let it get to him and played the next moment on its own merit.

Strong personality to go along with the talent.

Fantastic that he's getting the chance to learn and develop on the job while we're winning games. He may drop some clangers at some point, but he's still a kid in centre half terms and when he's fully developed, we'll have one hell of a player.

His potential is enormous.
