Transfer Rumour Ben Doak

If he is worth that much what should we ask for Brathwaite ? 100
We probably value him at close to 70 mill now but if he signs a new contract and continues playing the way he does, that could be close to 100 mill in a year or so.

Transfer fees are all over the place right now.
Reckon united could have got him for about 60 last summer before new owners came in.

Do we think boards of directors and owners really care for rivalries like that?

Are you asking whether football club owners care what their fans think?

Of course they do - you only have to look at the millions they spend on PR.

How many transfers has there been between Man Utd and Liverpool since the Premier League began?

0?

I don't think there's been any since the 60s.

Weve signed one player from Liverpool in my lifetime and I've got an iffy back and grey hair coming through.

It's not a coincidence.

Doak only comes here if he digs his heels in that Everton are his preference, or we pay over the odds.

In my lifetime, Morrisey, Sheedy, Harper, Beardsley, Ablett (probs missed one or two, no more)

We won't.

They'd take the money from a Brentford, Bournemouth or Crystal Palace instead.

He'll no doubt look the business, and then we'll be all FFS Fellows beat the first man lad.

It's the Everton way.
When was the last player they sold to one of them that "looked the business"? They don't sell good players if they can help it, and when do its a a premium. I'd rather we where not on the receiving end of funding their Wirtz purchase.
