Beer ! Pah ! I much prefer red wine or Vodka / Whisky.

You can't beat a bottle of red wine after a busy day.

Best wines at the moment:

1. Barolo
2. Amarone
3. Burgundy (any, pinot noir)
4. Bordeaux (especially St. Emilion or, better, Pauillac)
5. Chianti

This only holds true if the wine costs at least a tenner a bottle. (y)

i dont drink very often as always on call, when you hardly drink you notice how bad the after effects are. i cant stomach fizzy bears now, i've not got the greatest stomach capacity and it bloats immediately with lager, also if its too cold i get stomach cramps(there are times when an ice cold 1 in a glass thats been chilled is required though)
when in holland, i was a grolsch drinker(and in wigan pier)(y)
in oz, carlton cold or hahn ice(y)
nz, speights or monteiths (both dark)(y)
greece , whatever we could blag(y)
now, bitter (boddies) or murphys/guinness, weissbier (the lidl one is nice) or if there's a real ale available that.(y)
never really touch spirits but vodka if any....a moscow mule is delish.(y)
i will probably switch over to wine during my spanish hols as the tarragonna is about 10 bob a bottle(y) 2 days until 3 weeks of bliss (for me not you guys)

Proper love Corona with or without lime.

I like bulmers and magners and tried this blackcurrent type of cider by 'Brothers' and that was really nice.

I don't mind Fosters really cold and like most cider.

The US has some quality microbrewers. But the corporate beers (Coors, Coors light, Budweiser, Miller) are all piss. The only decent popular pilsner that's made in the US is Rolling Rock.

My favorite beer: Chimay red - those Trappist monks know their beer. The other day I got a pizza for $9 and a draft of Chimay Red for $10.50. Pity its so expensive.
