Hook Norton Twelve Days.
Seasonal very dark brown bitter from the Cotswold brewery. Rich and malty with a nice sharp aftertaste. Bottled for export to Oz from the info on the bottle.

St. Austell Mena Dhu - Six Malt Cornish Stout.
'Tis indeed made with 6 malts and they've slung some licorice root in. Complex and rich but sharp with it. Well nice.

Had quite a lot of this at the Weekend whilst in York.
Lovely session ale ( 3.7%) pale and creamy.

Got a boxed set of beers from the York Brewery from friends, this was one of them...really liked it.
Yeah, all the York Brewery stuff is very drinkable. If you've got a bottle of Guzzler in there, that's my favourite !

First up, from Tempest Brewing, Scotland:
Pale Armadillo. Very nice change after quaffing stacks of winter porters and stouts, a refreshing, hoppy but full bodied pale ale with a tasty grapefruit flavour. Tastes much stronger than the 3.8% ABV. Good start!

Currently drinking a Tempest - Farmhouse Ale Saison, love everything I've tried from Tempest.
Definitely be keeping an eye out for more of theirs, really enjoyed that one.

I've got easy access to their beers with them being a Scottish brewery. Some of their better beers are Marmalade on Rye, In The Dark We Live, Long White Cloud and Longer White Cloud 10.2%
Just had a look at their website, they make some fascinating beers. Our local offy is always after new suggestions, will definitely be pointing them in Tempest's direction.
