This place mate , there were three stoutsAny pub with an imperial stout on is serious about its beer.
It does, unlikely to make its way down here sadly.
Chinook Blonde 4.2% from the Goose Eye Brewery.
Really nice, crisp and refreshing, not overly hopped and a perfect summer ale.

Having visited Siren's magnificent barrel aging room recently I have even more respect for this excellent multi-bourbon cask rested imperial with touches of lime and coconut tossed into the mix. It has no respect for me, I'm 'kin 'cked.

Just rolled back into town yesterday after almost 4 weeks away. Had some friends stay at my house while I was gone. They left me some nice beers. The "Socks & Sandals" in particular was a stand-out. From Santa Cruz CA (where my friends used to live). The other two were decent as well.
Another of my very occasional experiments in sours, and as usual VC are a cut above.

Had a good session at Good Chem's tap last weekend and picked up a few cans. This is excellent:
Really fruity and malty for a hefeweizen, but still sharp and tangy. Grabbed a few 7% dopplebocks as well, looking forward to cracking one of they.
