Beer, revisited

Currently in the Cotswolds, where Wadworth pubs seem to the order of the day, not generally a fan of their beers, but this was quite good :

Horizon Golden Ale 4%

Nice zesty summer drink, with a pleasant aftertaste.

It was one of those pints that got better, once you’d go used to the initial “ tang “ of the first few sips.
Wandsworth used to like to put X (s) on their beer names, do they still do that ? Their mild was very nice, but that was a few years' ago now.
 

Just had a look, Wadworth's no longer brew their own mild. Noticed also that Bishop's Tipple is only 5% abv, it used to be much, much stronger than that.

Had to check, and you are right. They stopped brewing Bishops Tipple for a few years, when it came back it had been reduced from 5.5% to 5%.
