They've got a cask bitter that would go toe to toe with anything in the UK




...while I'm on the Black Butte Porter. And it's pronounced like 'yewt', as in 'what is a yewt'.

Superb mate...looks like there is no shortage of beer on the taps.

Really top notch, almost like an alt bier so quite a surprise to find on the bar in the Lava Tube Tiki Bar!





Beers have been great here so far and we've not even hit the breweries.

Been slack as f. here, but to be fair I've been doing a lot of driving, might have to do some in retro. Anyways, got to the original site of Maui Brewing Co's setup, although they've now moved a bit further out of Napili.




Currently on the DIPA, which is proper but between us we've nailed the brown ale, the mango sticky rice one, the pineapple wheat and the red ale. Looking to finish off on the coconut porter.

I'd been all over the Saison,Red ale and Mango and guava one.

Hop Head 3.4% - Dark Star.

Due to the name, I was expecting a hop bomb with this one !

It was actually quite a pleasant beer, sharp, with a hint of elderflower, crisp and easy to drink.

I think the low abv, probably calmed the bite of the hops down somewhat !
