What I've been enjoying recently (mostly stuff I've posted before)
Love Street Blonde (Kolsch) by Karbach (Texas). Really crisp and enjoyable, about as good as you're going to get from a Yank Kolsch. 79 score on BA but this is not a reflection on how good this is, an almost perfect pour on a summer day.
Reve Coffee Stout by Parish (Louisiana). A very nice coffee stout and a very good BA score of 97. Probably a little over the top but a very warm, malty stout without any lingering aftertaste and an excellent slow pour. Always think I should get some Reve coffee every time I drink one but really all I do is look forward to my next beer. Go get you one if you can find it.
Paulaner Hefeweizen (Munich). Not much to say about this, one of the greats. I prefer Franziskaner but it's hard to find locally but I'll always drink Pauliner or Weihenstephaner, you don't have to pry open my lips for these. BA score 90.
Delirium
Tremens or
Nocturnum (Belgium) depending on whether I want a darker or lighter brew. Both excellent although I prefer the darker, redder Belgians most days. Delirium are hard to beat although I'll put up anything from Unibroue (Montreal) as excellent everyday and twice today. Tremens and Nocturnum score 92 and 90 on BA.
